People Analytics & Reporting Advisor
We’re partnering with a respected Vic Gov agency to recruit a People Analytics & Reporting Advisor who is passionate about turning workforce data into meaningful business insights. This is an exciting opportunity for an analytical HR professional who enjoys working with data, partnering with stakeholders, and improving people systems and reporting capabilities. It is a 12 months fixed term role – part time opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain workforce dashboards, reports and visualisations using Excel and HRIS platforms.
- Analyse workforce data to identify trends, risks and opportunities, providing actionable insights to support strategic business decisions.
- Partner with People & Culture, Finance, IT and business leaders to understand reporting requirements and deliver tailored analytics solutions.
- Provide expert advice to managers and senior stakeholders on workforce reporting and people metrics.
- Support workforce planning initiatives through scenario modelling and data analysis.
- Ensure data integrity, governance and compliance with reporting standards while maintaining documentation and reporting definitions.
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:
- Demonstrated experience in People Analytics, Workforce Reporting or HR Reporting.
- Strong capability with Power BI, advanced Excel and HRIS reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- The ability to translate complex workforce data into clear, meaningful insights for a broad range of stakeholders.
- Knowledge of workforce planning, organisational performance metrics and diversity reporting.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Data Analytics or a related discipline.
- Experience working within the public sector or another regulated environment.
