Pega Technical Architect

  • Location: Sydney
  • Salary: Up to $180,000
  • Eligibility: Australian citizens (ability to obtain NV1 clearance)

This role will see you leading the design and implementation of Pega-based solutions across a large-scale federal transformation program. You’ll work across end-to-end architecture, guiding delivery teams and shaping solution design in a complex environment.

You’ll be supporting a national regulatory body undergoing significant transformation in the AML/CTF space. The environment is fast-paced, highly collaborative, and focused on delivering secure, scalable enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and guide implementation of Pega-based solutions across projects
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define solutions
  • Lead architecture across integration, performance, and system design
  • Support delivery across build, test, and deployment phases
  • Ensure solutions meet security, scalability, and performance standards
  • Contribute to best practices, standards, and continuous improvement

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years Pega development experience and 7+ years in software delivery
  • Strong experience with Pega implementations, connectors, and integrations
  • Experience with event-driven architecture and system design
  • Solid understanding of business processes and BPM applications
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership capability
  • Pega Certified System Architect (or equivalent)
