Junior Payroll Officer – Permanent Role
Location: Sydney CBD + WFH Flexibility
Salary: $88,000 per year (including super)

The Role:
As a Junior Payroll Officer, you’ll join a team of 10 payroll professionals, supporting end-to-end payroll functions for a diverse employee base. You’ll work in a collaborative environment focused on accuracy, learning, and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with end-to-end payroll processing (fortnightly and monthly cycles)
- Support onboarding and offboarding payroll tasks
- Maintain employee payroll records and ensure data accuracy
- Respond to employee queries regarding tax, superannuation, and payslips
- Ensure compliance with payroll procedures and relevant legislation
- Support the Payroll team with ad hoc tasks
Key Requirements:
- Some experience in payroll or administration (experience preferred but not essential)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage data accurately
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and desire to build a career in payroll
- Professional communication and stakeholder service skills
- Must be Sydney-based and able to work onsite
Desirable:
- SAP Payroll experience is a bonus but not mandatory
