Oracle HCM Technical Lead (6-Month Contract, Likely Extension)
Location: Sydney, hybrid (CBD)

We’re partnering with a leading FMCG organisation in the health space to secure an experienced Oracle HCM Technical Lead for an initial 6-month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll take ownership of the current HCM environment, drive system optimisation, and support business-critical processes across Australia and Asia. You’ll play a key role in strengthening engagement, improving efficiency, and setting the function up for long-term success.

What you’ll be doing:

  • take ownership of the Oracle HCM platform and act as the technical lead
  • assess current processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and system utilisation
  • partner closely with P&C stakeholders across Australia and Asia (Singapore, Malaysia)
  • drive proactive improvements across systems and business processes
  • lead functional analysis and translate business requirements into system solutions
  • deliver small to medium BAU enhancements end-to-end
  • identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities across the HCM landscape
  • build strong internal relationships and improve engagement across the business
  • support a lean team environment and help drive long-term capability

What we’re looking for:

  • proven experience as a Technical Lead or Applications Lead within Oracle HCM
  • strong systems administration and configuration background
  • solid business analysis capability, including functional requirements gathering
  • experience delivering BAU enhancements through to completion
  • ability to work autonomously in a lean, one-person team environment
  • proactive approach, someone who identifies issues and drives solutions
  • strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • experience working across APAC regions and navigating time zone challenges
