Operational Technology Specialist (FIFO)

An exciting opportunity exists for a skilled Operational Technology (OT) Specialist to join a high-performing team supporting critical operational technologies across a large-scale industrial site. This is a site-based role on an 8/6 roster.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and maintain Fleet Management Systems (FMS), Collision Avoidance Systems (CAS), Driver Safety Systems (DSS), and industrial networks (LTE, WTS, DRS)
  • Configure OT equipment and maintain local technology blueprints
  • Troubleshoot and resolve priority technology incidents on-site
  • Manage incidents and tasks through ServiceNow (SNOW)
  • Support small tech projects and site investigations (e.g., PRB, ICAM, RCA)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide end-user technology support

Required Skills & Experience:

  • A valid Australian “C” class driver’s licence
  • Proven mining experience in the site-based role.
  • Current Open Cabling Registration with endorsements (ICTCBL301-304)
  • Solid understanding of site operations and safety procedures
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain tech to non-tech teams
  • Ability to prioritise, work under pressure, and operate both independently and in a team
