The Role

We are seeking experienced Infrastructure Engineers with strong observability monitoring expertise to support a large-scale cloud environment within a Federal Government organisation. You will play a key role in configuring, supporting and uplifting monitoring capability across cloud platforms while working closely with technical teams to improve system visibility and operational performance.

Your duties will include:

  • Managing and supporting observability monitoring solutions across cloud environments
  • Configuring and supporting Dynatrace, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, AWS Config and Azure Monitor
  • Leading incident response activities and supporting root cause analysis
  • Developing monitoring standards, procedures, documentation and operational guidance
  • Supporting broader cloud infrastructure services including AWS S3, backups and RDS environments

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in Dynatrace, Amazon CloudWatch, CloudTrail, or Config, and Azure Monitor
  • Strong experience across AWS, Azure or Google Cloud platforms
  • Deep understanding of observability concepts including metrics, logs and traces
  • Experience designing and implementing alerting and monitoring solutions
  • Scripting and automation capability using Python, Bash or PowerShell
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Docker environments
  • Ability to train, mentor and support technical teams
