Our client is looking for an experienced Network Security Architect to support the design and delivery of secure, enterprise-scale network services within a highly regulated and mission-critical environment.
This role will focus on network and security architecture across large-scale enterprise, operational technology (OT), cloud and data centre environments. Working closely with engineering, operations and program teams, you will play a key role in shaping the future network architecture and security posture of a nationally significant infrastructure program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain secure network architectures across enterprise, cloud, OT and data centre environments.
  • Develop network security solutions utilising technologies such as Palo Alto, Cisco and related platforms.
  • Design network segmentation, routing and secure connectivity solutions across hybrid environments.
  • Support network transformation, migration and modernisation initiatives.
  • Produce architecture documentation including HLDs, LLDs and technical designs.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Network Security Architect, Network Architect or Senior Network Engineer.
  • Strong experience across network security, WAN/LAN architecture, routing and cloud connectivity.
  • Expertise with technologies such as Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet, BGP, OSPF and SD-WAN.
  • Experience designing secure enterprise and critical infrastructure networks.
  • Strong understanding of network segmentation, firewall design and security architecture principles.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and technical documentation skills.

Highly Regarded

  • Experience within aviation, defence, telecommunications, utilities or other critical infrastructure environments.
  • Exposure to OT/industrial control systems.
  • Experience with F5, network automation and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Large-scale network transformation program experience.
