Network Manager
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Network Manager to join a world-class technology organisation responsible for operating one of the largest and most sophisticated networks on the planet.
This is a rare leadership opportunity to manage a high-performing team of network engineers supporting mission-critical infrastructure and some of the world’s most demanding customers. You’ll combine deep technical expertise with strong people leadership, driving operational excellence, network reliability, automation, capacity planning, and continuous improvement across a highly complex environment.
Key activities
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of Network Engineers
- Own the operational health, performance and availability of large-scale network infrastructure
- Drive capacity planning, forecasting, automation and process optimisation initiatives
- Manage critical incidents, escalations and root cause analysis activities
- Champion operational excellence through metrics, reporting and continuous improvement
- Develop team roadmaps, priorities and strategic objectives
- Partner with customers, infrastructure teams and engineering stakeholders to deliver innovative networking solutions
- Build and maintain a strong engineering culture focused on quality, reliability and ownership
- Recruit, onboard and develop top engineering talent
Skills and experience
- Experience leading network engineering or network operations teams
- Strong background in large-scale network infrastructure and operations
- Deep understanding of networking technologies, engineering best practices and operational processes
- Proven experience managing mission-critical environments with high availability requirements
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience driving automation, process improvement and operational efficiencies
- Demonstrated success delivering complex technical projects and leading teams through change
- Must be an Australia Citizen and eligible to apply for government security clearance
