Network Engineer (Firewall)
Our client:
A globally recognised entertainment organisation operating across multiple regions, with a large-scale, complex technology environment.
Their infrastructure team plays a critical role in securing global systems, working closely with cybersecurity and engineering teams across multiple countries.
The role:
This is a senior, hands-on network security role focused on firewall and network access control (NAC) across a global enterprise environment.
You’ll play a key role in designing, standardising and improving security controls – working on initiatives aligned to Zero Trust, segmentation and enterprise security strategy.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, implement and support enterprise firewall and perimeter security solutions
- Define and evolve NAC strategy, policies and architecture (Cisco ISE)
- Lead standardisation across firewall platforms and configurations
- Drive security logging, telemetry and SIEM integration
- Partner with cybersecurity teams on alerts, monitoring and incident response
- Act as an escalation point for complex network security issues
Skills and experience:
- Strong experience with enterprise firewalls (ideally Palo Alto)
- Experience with Network Access Control (Cisco ISE preferred)
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (routing, IP, security)
- Experience in large or global enterprise environments
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation and communication skills
Nice to have:
- Zero Trust / segmentation experience
- SIEM / logging integration exposure
- Security certifications (CCNP Security, PCNSE)
- Experience with audits, compliance or governance frameworks
