About the opportunity

One of our global consulting clients is seeking two Network Engineers to join a major enterprise engagement in Sydney. You will play a key role in supporting the transition of services into the environment, followed by ongoing BAU support within a complex, large scale infrastructure landscape.

This is an L2 support position suited to an engineer who enjoys troubleshooting, optimising, and working across enterprise networking environments.

Key responsibilities

* Provide Level 2 support across enterprise network infrastructure
* Support transition activities from project into BAU operations
* Troubleshoot and resolve incidents across routing, switching and firewall environments
* Work closely with internal technical teams to ensure service stability and performance
* Contribute to documentation, knowledge transfer and continuous improvement initiatives

Mandatory skills and experience

* 3 to 5 years of hands on experience in enterprise networking environments
* Strong experience with Cisco routing and switching
* Solid experience managing and supporting Cisco firewalls
* Proven background in L2 support within complex environments
* Experience working within structured ITIL based support models

Nice to have

* Exposure to large scale enterprise or managed services environments
* Experience supporting service transition activities
* Relevant Cisco certifications, CCNA or above
