We are seeking a Network Designer to support a major government organisation delivering a critical data centre migration initiative. With an existing data centre lease expiring in 2028, this role will be instrumental in designing and implementing modern, secure, and scalable network solutions to support the transition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement enterprise network solutions across LAN, WAN, Wireless, Cloud, and Security environments
  • Configure and manage network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs
  • Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and ensure optimal uptime
  • Implement and maintain network security controls and protocols
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex issues

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Strong experience working as a Network Designer
  • Strong expertise in networking protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP
  • Hands-on experience with LAN/WAN, VLANs, and enterprise networking equipment (e.g. Cisco, Juniper)
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and modern networking approaches like SD-WAN
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCDP, CCIE (or equivalent
