The Role: This Government Department is seeking a Network Business Analyst to join their team to gather and translate requirements for a network infrastructure upgrade.

The Responsibilities:

  • Gathering and documenting functional/technical and non-functional business requirements, business rules and process flows.
  • Facilitate workshops to understand and document integration requirements.
  • Working closely with subject matter experts, other internal stakeholders and vendors to develop and implement process solutions.
  • Uses understanding of the stakeholder’s organisational context to ensure outcomes are achieved.
  • Schedule a project using an appropriate tool, identifying the who, the what and the when of project activities and milestones.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • 7+ years’ experience in a Business Analyst delivering network infrastructure upgrades.
  • Prior experience within Network Administration or Network Engineering would be ideal to understand the technical requirements of the position.
  • Prior experience within Cisco – Meraki (Cloud product) is essential.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential with the ability to adapt style and tone for different audiences.
  • Prior experience working within the Public Sector is essential.
