The Site Manager is responsible for leading day-to-day site operations, ensuring safe, efficient and cost-effective performance. This role focuses on delivering production targets, maintaining compliance, and building a strong, high-performing team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead site safety (OHS&E) for employees, contractors and visitors, promoting a strong safety culture
  • Ensure compliance with legal, environmental and mining lease requirements
  • Deliver production targets in line with KPIs and budget
  • Monitor performance, throughput and efficiency
  • Drive continuous improvement to optimise plant performance
  • Manage budgets, costs and identify cost reduction opportunities
  • Lead, coach and develop site teams while managing performance and employee relations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, customers and suppliers

Skills & experience:

  • Experience leading teams in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage performance, priorities and time effectively
  • Must hold a Diploma in Surface Operations Management (preferred) or Certificate III in Surface Extraction Operations
  • Experience with SAP, Kronos or Microsoft Office (desirable)
  • Financial or budgeting experience (desirable)
