Mining Manager
The Site Manager is responsible for leading day-to-day site operations, ensuring safe, efficient and cost-effective performance. This role focuses on delivering production targets, maintaining compliance, and building a strong, high-performing team.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead site safety (OHS&E) for employees, contractors and visitors, promoting a strong safety culture
- Ensure compliance with legal, environmental and mining lease requirements
- Deliver production targets in line with KPIs and budget
- Monitor performance, throughput and efficiency
- Drive continuous improvement to optimise plant performance
- Manage budgets, costs and identify cost reduction opportunities
- Lead, coach and develop site teams while managing performance and employee relations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, customers and suppliers

Skills & experience:
- Experience leading teams in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage performance, priorities and time effectively
- Must hold a Diploma in Surface Operations Management (preferred) or Certificate III in Surface Extraction Operations
- Experience with SAP, Kronos or Microsoft Office (desirable)
- Financial or budgeting experience (desirable)
