Microsoft Endpoint & Intune Migration Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Intune & Endpoint Migration Specialist to support a short-term engagement focused on reviewing, preparing, and migrating on-premises Group Policies (GPOs) as part of a broader transition to Microsoft Intune.

This role is hands-on and delivery-focused, working across endpoint management, security, and modern workplace technologies to ensure a smooth and secure migration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review existing on-premises Group Policies and assess suitability for Intune

  • Design and implement GPO-to-Intune policy migration

  • Configure and optimise Intune, Autopilot, and endpoint security policies

  • Support application packaging, image build, and deployment activities

  • Collaborate with technical and service teams to minimise risk and disruption

  • Provide 2nd-level technical expertise and guidance

  • Contribute to change, test, and configuration management processes in line with ITIL

Mandatory Requirements

  • Proven Microsoft Intune qualifications (Microsoft badges / certifications required)

  • Demonstrated experience delivering Intune migrations in enterprise environments

  • Strong PowerShell scripting capability

  • Microsoft 365, Azure, and Entra ID administration

  • Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM)

  • Intune & Autopilot (applications, policies, Company Portal)

  • Windows 11 and Windows Server (2019+)

  • Active Directory and Advanced Group Policy Management

  • Microsoft Defender & Defender for Endpoint

  • Endpoint security controls (WDAC/AppLocker, BitLocker, Windows Hello, Firewall)

  • WSUS and SCUP

  • Experience aligned to SFIA:

    • Solution design and improvement (TECH Level 5)

    • Change, problem, and test management (CHMG / PBMG / TEST Level 4)

    • Architecture and design support (ARCH 5 / DESN 5)
