The Role

Join a leading federal government program delivering essential digital services that benefit Australians nationwide. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring software reliability and accessibility across multiple digital platforms. Your work will directly enhance service quality, user experience, and system integrity within a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.

Your duties will include:

  • Developing and maintaining test strategies, plans, and schedules using Azure DevOps
  • Designing, executing, and documenting functional and regression test cases
  • Managing defect identification, reporting, and retesting processes
  • Collaborating closely with developers, analysts, and business users to ensure product quality
  • Supporting and coordinating User Acceptance Testing activities
  • Conducting accessibility testing and ensuring compliance with WCAG standards

Skills and Experience we are looking for:

  • Proven experience as a Manual Software Tester in complex ICT environments
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies, processes, and tools
  • Experience in Azure DevOps or TFS for test planning and defect management
  • Knowledge of accessibility testing and WCAG compliance
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrated success working in Agile delivery teams
