
Maintenance Technician
As a site Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a key part in maintaining and enhancing the performance of advanced line equipment at our client’s processing sites.
Your work will enhance a smooth operation as you ensure that the machinery is operating as required, and in a continuously safe manner.
In this role you will:
- Maintain and troubleshoot automated processing machinery
- Perform timely fault diagnosis and repairs
- Collaborate closely with technical and operations teams
- Drive improvements in system reliability and performance
- Mentor junior technicians and support training initiatives
- Be an active team player.
You will bring:
A solid background in maintenance and trouble shooting on a fast paced or 24/7 processing operation, coupled with the appropriate qualifications – either a formal mechanical qualification as a mechanical technician, or as an EWRB registered service technician or have EST A/B qualifications.
In addition, you’ll also bring:
- 3+ years’ experience in industrial maintenance or production environments
- Comfortable with shift work
- Must have own car and driver’s license to be able to get between sites
- Solid fault-finding and diagnostic skills, CMMS platforms such as SAP or Maximo, and SCADA operation experience would be a bonus.
