Our Client

Our client is a large government department tasked with delivering a range of health, welfare, and support services to individuals, families, and communities. They work closely with other government agencies and service providers to develop policy to support government programmes, design and develop service delivery systems that make services accessible to all and provide payments and services that support all Australians to improve their circumstances and achieve greater self-sufficiency and quality of life.

The Role

You will play a key role in delivering and rolling out Microsoft Copilot capabilities across a large federal environment. Working closely with innovation teams, you will support users, resolve issues, and ensure a secure and effective adoption of AI-powered tools.

Your duties will include:

  • Supporting the rollout and adoption of Microsoft Copilot tools
  • Troubleshooting platform issues and supporting end users
  • Implementing governance, policies, and safe rollout frameworks
  • Managing permissions, data readiness, and collaboration environments
  • Working with stakeholders to improve Copilot usage and performance

Skills and experience we are looking for:

  • Strong experience with Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive
  • Experience with Copilot enablement, governance, and rollout
  • Knowledge of Purview, DLP, and data governance frameworks
  • Experience with Entra ID, conditional access, and identity management
  • Exposure to Microsoft Graph, automation, or Power Platform
  • Understanding of AI principles, prompt engineering, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to support users and resolve technical issues in a live environment
