In this pivotal role based in Melbourne, you will leverage your extensive expertise to rebuild and enhance spreadsheet-based liquidity reporting processes, with a primary focus on APS 210 requirements. Collaborating across Treasury, Finance, Risk, Data, and Compliance teams, you will develop innovative solutions to improve reporting accuracy, control standards, and operational efficiency. Your insights will help strengthen the organisation governance framework while supporting ongoing regulatory change initiatives.
Required Skills:
- Extensive experience with APS 210 liquidity reporting within an Australian banking or regulated financial environment
- Over 10 years of experience in liquidity, regulatory, or treasury reporting, or related disciplines
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas, data validation, and spreadsheet control enhancement
- Proven track record in rebuilding or improving liquidity/regulatory reporting spreadsheets
- Strong understanding of liquidity risk, compliance standards, and control frameworks
- Excellent data management skills, including troubleshooting data issues and improving data quality
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements, automate manual activities, and reduce operational risks
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills across Treasury, Risk, Finance, Compliance, Technology, and senior leadership
- High attention to detail and analytical acumen to deliver accurate, timely reports under tight deadlines
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience supporting automation and digital transformation of reporting processes
- Familiarity with similar liquidity reporting functions outside of banking
- Knowledge of regulatory reporting frameworks beyond APS 210
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline
- 10+ years of direct experience in liquidity or regulatory reporting, risk management, or treasury within a regulated financial environment
Other Requirements:
- Based in Melbourne; flexibility for occasional stakeholder engagement or regulatory meetings
- Relevant certifications or ongoing professional development in financial regulation or risk management is advantageous
