Licensing Support Officer
Talent International is currently recruiting a Licensing Support Officer to work for the NSW Government, based in Parramatta. This position is a contract role until the 30th of June, with a view to be extended, and the role pays $40 to $45 hour + Super.
7.6 hours a day / 38 hours a week
About the Role
As a Licensing Support Officer, you will play a key role in administering all aspects of the wildlife licensing system. You will be responsible for processing applications and renewals, managing records, handling payments, and providing accurate information to support compliance with legislative requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer the wildlife licensing system for private keepers of protected fauna
- Process licence applications, renewals, and annual record reports
- Handle licensing fee payments across multiple payment methods in line with NSW Government procedures
- Provide timely and accurate information on wildlife licensing matters
- Maintain and update databases to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Manage filing systems to ensure records are organised and easily accessible
- Deliver high-quality customer service within defined service timeframes
About You
- Previous experience in administration, licensing, or government roles
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume processing tasks
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently within set timeframes and procedures
- Experience with databases and record management systems
