Level 3 Systems Engineer – Cyber Security & AWS
Contract | Part-Time (2-3 Days/Week)
6-Month Initial Contract + Potential Extension
Adelaide, SA based role

We’re seeking a senior Cyber Security & AWS Systems Engineer to support a hybrid cloud/on-prem environment on a part-time contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned engineer who enjoys a mix of cyber security, system engineering, and AWS cloud work-while influencing and shaping a secure, modern technology environment.

Role Snapshot :

  • Lead security operations & incident response
  • Implementing security hardening, identity and access controls, and security baselines across cloud and on-prem infrastructure
  • Support AWS environment (IAM, networking, monitoring, security services)
  • Manage vulnerability remediation & uplift security posture
  • Provide senior technical guidance across infrastructure
  • Work across cloud + on-prem systems

What You Bring

  • Strong Level 3 systems engineering background
  • Hands-on cyber-security experience (IR, hardening, SIEM/SOC)
  • Proven AWS skills
  • Ability to operate independently at a senior level
  • Australian working rights
