Our client, a leading organisation in the education sector, is seeking a proactive and skilled Level 2 FTS Support Technician to support the integration of school infrastructure with department-wide technology solutions. As part of a major ICT uplift program across Victorian schools, you will be instrumental in ensuring smooth migrations with minimal disruption to school operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with technical leads, analysts, and school technicians to roll out and consolidate staff/student identities into the department’s centralised identity platform.

  • Assist schools in the discovery and planning of technical migrations for devices and infrastructure.

  • Ensure technical planning aligns with department standards and document any exceptions with comprehensive “as-built” documentation.

  • Resolve incidents related to identity, device, and infrastructure migration from school-managed environments to the central platform.

  • Provide hypercare support and hands-on assistance to School Technicians post-migration.

  • Deliver Level 1 and Level 2 support to staff and students following migration.

  • Record and manage incidents, changes, and problems using ServiceNow.

  • Investigate, analyse, and document root causes of incidents, escalating to Level 3 engineers where necessary.

  • Participate in FTS integration activities as directed by the Team Lead.

  • Ensure compliance with Information Security best practices and regulatory requirements throughout all migration activities.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • 2-3 years of experience in infrastructure/platform support (Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Print/File servers).

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune (application packaging, AutoPilot, device management).

  • Proven Level 2 technical support capabilities.

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

  • Clear and confident communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Experience working in complex, customer-facing environments with a focus on service delivery.

  • Ability to streamline workflows and automate processes to increase efficiency.
