Learning & Development Specialist
Talent International is currently recruiting Learning & Development Specialist to work for the NSW Government, based in Parramatta(Hybrid). This is a 6-month contract with a view to be extended. The role is paying $850 – $900/day + Super.
Hours – 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with People Partners and business stakeholders to understand capability requirements, learning priorities and workforce challenges.
- Advise and support People Leaders on best-practice development solutions that contribute to a high-performing culture.
- Conduct learning needs analyses and develop learning plans across technical, professional, operational and generalist capability areas.
- Design learning materials, capability frameworks, eLearning, virtual classroom and face-to-face training solutions.
- Design, source, curate and facilitate learning programs using the 70:20:10 learning model.
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of learning and development programs.
- Support the implementation of the organisation’s People and Culture Strategy and Plan.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver effective learning programs and initiatives.
- Lead or contribute to L&D projects designed to improve business outcomes.
- Evaluate learning programs and recommend improvements based on feedback and formal evaluation results.
- Embed learning innovation and contemporary industry practices into the L&D framework.
- Help build a strong learning culture across the organisation.
- Support the digital transformation of learning by using technology to improve accessibility, engagement and effectiveness.
- Prioritise learning demands and ensure solutions align with key business objectives.
About You
You will be an experienced Learning and Development professional with strong capability in stakeholder consultation, needs analysis, instructional design and program delivery. You will be confident working with diverse business areas and translating complex capability requirements into effective learning solutions.
Required
- An undergraduate qualification in Instructional Design, Learning Design, Education or a related discipline; or
- Equivalent demonstrated experience in learning consultation, instructional design or a closely related field.
Desirable
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
