Our client is an iconic Australian organisation currently seeking a Lead Platform Engineer to manage and drive improvements across their AWS platform.

Your new role will see you leading a team of Platform Engineers developing on the businesses AWS platform. You will play a key role in developing the roadmap for the uplift of the AWS platform and deliver upon it over the coming years. Long term you will help the team drive the adoption of Terraform across the team and secure the the platform from a security perspective. This role offers the opportunity to build upon your people management experience and drive significant change across an enterprise AWS platform.

Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in team leadership and management (teams of 5 or more)
  • A strong background delivering across the AWS platform
  • Understanding of networks, security and identity
  • Hands on experience with Terraform
  • Ability to build strong relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Our client is offering a full time permanent position with offices based in Richmond. They offer a hybrid work environment with a requirement to be onsite 3 days per week. The office is close to both train and tram lines with paid onsite parking available.
