Opportunity
Our client is a community focused Federal Government Agency. They have an exciting opportunity for a Lead BA / Assistant Domain Owner to join their Service Design Delivery Team. The role is leading a team of Business Analysts and Service Designers tasked with Co-Designing a major legislative reform and impacts to systems and digital assets.

This is a 12-month initial contract with opportunity for extension.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Data and Analytics requirements for digital products used by Providers and Participants
  • Primary contact point coordinating production and support of digital products throughout lifecycle
  • Lead end to end digital Agile projects through design and build running Agile ceremonies ensure design and build priorities are clear
  • Facilitate workshops and showcases
  • Define requirements to support user story development
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, and lead and supervise BA’s and Service Designers providing coaching, support and guidance
  • Managing consistent and quality delivery of program milestones and practices across teams of Service Designers and Business Analysts
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities to improve program governance, practice, and reporting.
  • Coaching staff in agile frameworks and scrum practices, including coordinating development opportunities
  • Overseeing the implementation of sprints and ceremonies across team, including proactively identifying opportunities and implementing improvements.
  • Supporting team to build a productive environment, where team members have accountability for their products and practices

About you

  • Experience working within an Agile project environment
  • Experience as a digital BA, leading and mentoring BA’s
  • Demonstrated experience in Coordinating sprints, retrospective meetings and daily stand-ups
  • Demonstrated experience in managing each project’s scope and timeline
  • Experience in Facilitating internal communication and effective collaboration
  • Understanding of inclusivity principles, and the need to design and implement processes that are accessible to all staff
  • Preferable prior knowledge and experience in disability and public sector or legislative reform
  • Proof of Australian Citizenship is requried to be eligible for this position
