Lead Architect
Job Summary / Overview
The Lead Architect plays a critical role in shaping and delivering secure, scalable and innovative technology solutions aligned to the University’s strategic objectives. This position provides architectural leadership across enterprise and solution domains, supporting learning, research and administration through cohesive technology ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and embed architecture governance, standards and frameworks
- Lead solution architecture design for secure and scalable platforms
- Partner with integration leadership to evolve system interoperability
- Provide expert guidance on Azure cloud and security architecture
- Support business cases, tenders and technology evaluations
- Mentor and coach architecture team members
Required Qualifications
- Postgraduate qualifications in IT or equivalent experience
- Extensive experience in solution architecture with enterprise exposure
- Strong expertise in Azure cloud environments

Working Conditions
- National role with travel as required
- Availability outside standard hours when needed
