This Victorian Government Agency is seeking a Junior Solution Architect to play a critical part in developing and delivering the Agency’s Enterprise Architecture, while supporting and enhancing enabling technology platforms

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with teams across the Agency to understand business processes, identify opportunities, and provide guidance on IT solutions.
  • Evaluate commercial-off-the-shelf products to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security standards, and integration requirements.
  • Work with platform owners to review, enhance, and maintain technology platforms, reducing technical debt and improving performance.
  • Act as custodian of reference, solution, and data architecture designs in the Enterprise Architecture repository
  • Provide support during solution design and architecture phases of projects, including data modelling and integration.

Key Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a architecture or similar role
  • Demonstrated experience designing IT solutions to meet complex business needs.
  • Strong background in setting standards for enterprise architecture and solution patterns.
  • Demonstrated Architecture experience across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments.
  • Understanding in Microsoft technologies, particularly Azure.
  • Experience with enterprise architecture platforms such as Orbus (or similar).
