Through the uplift of governance frameworks, business processes and project delivery capability, the organisation is building a stronger foundation for the future-and is looking for an Associate Project Manager to be part of that journey.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Project Coordinator, Project Officer, PMO Analyst or Delivery Coordinator who is ready to make the transition into Project Management.
If you’ve already begun leading smaller projects, coordinating workstreams, or taking ownership of key project activities, this role will provide the platform to further develop your project management skills while working alongside experienced delivery professionals.
About the role
As an Associate Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of strategic business and technology initiatives. Working across a complex stakeholder environment, you’ll contribute to project planning, governance, reporting, stakeholder engagement and delivery activities while developing your capability across the full project lifecycle.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll be encouraged to take ownership, build relationships and develop into a confident Project Manager.
Key responsibilities
- Support the end-to-end delivery of strategic business and technology projects.
- Coordinate project plans, schedules, milestones and key deliverables.
- Manage project governance including RAID logs, reporting, meeting packs and action registers.
- Monitor project risks, issues and dependencies while driving actions through to completion.
- Engage with business stakeholders, subject matter experts and delivery partners to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Prepare project documentation, briefing papers, status reports and stakeholder communications.
- Support implementation planning, business readiness and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to maintaining high-quality project governance and delivery standards.

You’ll bring:
- Experience supporting the delivery of business or technology projects.
- Exposure to managing smaller projects, leading workstreams, or independently delivering key project outcomes.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience preparing project documentation, reports and governance artefacts.
- Knowledge of project planning, scheduling, risk and issue management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A proactive approach with the confidence to take ownership and drive outcomes.
- A genuine ambition to build a long-term career in Project Management.
Desirable:
- PRINCE2 Foundation, CAPM, Diploma of Project Management or similar certification.
- Experience supporting digital, technology or business improvement initiatives.
- Exposure to government, regulatory or highly governed environments.
