Our client is seeking a Junior PMO/ Data Analyst to join their IT Project Management Office, supporting a portfolio of technology projects. This is an ideal opportunity for an early-career analyst with strong attention to detail and an interest in data, reporting and project delivery. Working within the PMO, you’ll maintain project data, produce portfolio reports and support project financial administration. While some exposure to project environments is beneficial, this is a data-focused role rather than a traditional Project Coordinator position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and validate project information within the portfolio management system.
  • Produce regular portfolio and project reports for PMO and leadership teams.
  • Analyse project data to ensure accuracy, consistency and completeness.
  • Assist with invoice reconciliation and project financial tracking.
  • Support project governance through accurate reporting and documentation.
  • Work with Project Managers to resolve data discrepancies and improve reporting quality.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements across PMO reporting and data management processes.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years’ experience in a Data Analyst, PMO Analyst, Project Support or similar analytical role.
  • Strong attention to detail with a passion for data accuracy.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets.
  • Comfortable producing reports and analysing project information.
  • Exposure to project environments or an understanding of the project lifecycle is advantageous.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
