ITSM Test Lead, Permanent Role

My client, a global leading consultancy, is seeking an experienced ITSM Test Lead to lead end to end testing for high profile IT Service Management programs. You’ll work closely with delivery, technical, and process teams to ensure quality outcomes across ITSM solutions, with a strong focus on functional testing, evaluation, and continuous improvement.

This is a permanent position based in Sydney.

Security Clearance Requirement

To be considered, you must be an Australian Citizen with an active NV1 security clearance, minimum.
NV1 security clearance is mandatory for this role.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead test planning and execution, create and run test plans, test cases, and test scripts

  • Partner with cross functional teams to define, prioritise, and deliver testing requirements across the project lifecycle

  • Perform root cause analysis, troubleshoot defects, and drive timely resolution to keep delivery on track

  • Apply modern functional testing practices, stay current with industry trends, and strengthen testing strategies

  • Improve testing methodologies, processes, and tooling over time

  • Evaluate and validate ITSM solutions, ideally using ServiceNow Automated Test Framework

  • Support process design aligned to ITSM best practice, using ITIL 4 Foundation principles

What you’ll bring

  • Proven experience as a Test Lead, ideally on ITSM programs

  • Strong functional testing capability, test evaluation, and defect triage skills

  • ServiceNow Automated Test Framework experience, highly regarded

  • Exposure to Defence projects and secure delivery environments, highly regarded

  • ITIL 4 Foundation certification, or willingness to obtain

  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and clear stakeholder communication

Work arrangement

  • On-site requirement, you must be willing to work from the office 5 days per week between Parramatta & CBD

  • Must be able to pass background checks including identity, criminal, and financial
