The Opportunity
As part of our growing team, we’re seeking an IT Support Specialist who’s passionate about helping people and solving problems. You’ll provide hands-on deskside and remote support, ensuring our devices, systems, and services run smoothly every day.
What you’ll be doing:
- Handling user administration and onboarding, including setting up laptops and mobile devices
- Troubleshooting Level 1st /2nd & 3rd line IT issues, covering both hardware and software
- Collaborating with colleagues and external technology service providers to resolve incidents and ensure smooth service delivery
- Overseeing device management; building, maintaining, and configuring desktop and mobile devices
About you
To be successful in this role you will bring:
- Prior experience in a Level 2, IT support or desktop support role
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Ecosystem (Windows 10 moving to 11)
- Hands-on experience with Office 365 (user and basic admin)
- Familiarity with cloud technologies (both Azure and AWS) and Active Directory
- The ability to engage positively with colleagues at all levels, including external vendors

About Water Wellington
Wellington Water is the professional water services provider across Greater Wellington and South Wairarapa. Their job is to provide safe and healthy drinking water, collect and treat wastewater, and ensure the stormwater network is well managed. They’re a multi-council owned entity, tasked to manage the infrastructure and deliver water services to our communities.
