IT Procurement Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Technology Sourcing Specialist to join a collaborative team delivering strategic sourcing, procurement and commercial outcomes across a diverse technology portfolio.

In this role, you’ll partner with technology, legal and business stakeholders to lead end-to-end procurement activities, provide commercial advice and manage supplier relationships, ensuring value for money, strong governance and successful delivery of key technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop procurement strategies and sourcing plans for technology initiatives.
• Provide commercial and procurement advice to technology and business stakeholders.
• Lead and support end-to-end RFI, RFQ and RFP processes.
• Prepare procurement documentation, evaluation plans and recommendations.
• Coordinate supplier engagement activities, clarifications and negotiations.
• Support supplier evaluations and contract award recommendations.
• Manage procurement activities to meet project milestones and delivery timeframes.
• Support contract establishment, renewals, extensions and variations.
• Monitor supplier performance, contract compliance and vendor relationships.
• Identify and manage procurement, commercial and contractual risks.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate experience in technology procurement or strategic sourcing and possess strong commercial and stakeholder management capabilities.

You will have:

• A degree in Business, Commerce, Law, Procurement or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience in procurement, sourcing, contract management or commercial advisory.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and relationship management skills.
• Experience preparing procurement documentation and supporting evaluation processes.
• Sound commercial acumen with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
