IT Portfolio Manager
- Lead a portfolio of strategic ICT projects with executive-level visibility
- 12-month contract + 12-month extension
- Must be an Australian Citizen with Baseline clearance – NV1 desirable
Take ownership of a portfolio of ICT projects and initiatives, bringing together portfolio management, program delivery and business relationship management in one senior leadership role.
You’ll oversee multiple projects aligned around common strategic priorities, working across technology, business teams, vendors and senior leadership to ensure investment and delivery remain aligned with broader organisational objectives.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and maintaining the ICT project portfolio, ensuring projects and initiatives align with strategic priorities
- Overseeing project delivery across scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks and dependencies
- Prioritising and optimising resources across competing projects and initiatives
- Building strong relationships across ICT, business teams, vendors and senior executives
- Establishing portfolio governance, monitoring performance and chairing senior steering committees
About You
We’re particularly interested in:
- 5+ years’ experience leading teams as a senior Project or Program Manager
- Experience managing complex ICT programs, portfolios and competing priorities
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior executives, vendors and delivery teams
- Experience working within or providing services to Government environments
- Project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2 or SAFe would be highly regarded

You’ll also have direct engagement with senior leadership, including responsibility for executive reporting and chairing high-level steering committees.
The role offers hybrid working, with a minimum of three days per week in the office and flexibility for the remaining two days, subject to agreement.
