IT Policy Officer
We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Policy Officer to support audit, compliance, and policy activities within a dynamic environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of technology, governance, and stakeholder engagement.
Acting as a key liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders, you will play an important role in ensuring audit recommendations are tracked, implemented, and communicated effectively. While this role does not involve conducting audits, it is critical in supporting audit processes, policy development, and compliance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of audit and policy briefs, reports, and documentation
- Monitor and track audit recommendations and policy commitments to ensure timely completion
- Review audit reports to ensure accuracy, clarity, and completeness of findings
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on audit requirements
- Coordinate meetings and communications across multiple stakeholders
- Provide regular status updates to management on audit and policy progress
- Assist in the development and enhancement of IT policies and procedures
About You
- Proven experience in IT audit coordination, compliance, policy, or a similar role
- Understanding of audit and policy processes (government experience advantageous but not essential)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise documentation
- Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail
