Talent have partnered with a professional services firm in seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead the delivery, security and performance of its technology environment across multiple office locations. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for ensuring reliable, secure and high-quality IT services that support staff and organisational operations. You will provide strategic and practical guidance on technology, risk, and operational improvement, while also offering hands-on leadership across infrastructure, end-user support, cyber security, vendor management and project delivery.

What You’ll Lead

* Day-to-day IT operations, ensuring systems are reliable, resilient and well-supported

* End-user support, service management practices and continuous improvement

* Maintenance of core platforms including servers, networks, identity, storage, telephony and collaboration tools

* Asset lifecycle management, licensing, procurement and documentation

* Cyber security frameworks covering identity, patching, endpoint protection, monitoring, incident response and recovery

* Business continuity, disaster recovery planning and testing

* Vendor and supplier relationships, including SLAs, contracts and renewals

* Delivery of IT and infrastructure projects, ensuring quality, timeliness and effective risk management

* Contribution to organisational strategy, operational efficiency and cross-departmental collaboration

What You Bring

* Demonstrated capability in network and information security management

* Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business impact

* Experience managing vendors, contracts and service performance

* Proven project management experience across infrastructure and systems improvements

* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment * A collaborative, solutions-focused approach with a strong customer service mindset

* Expertise across:

o Microsoft 365 and Intune

o Windows Active Directory and identity management

o Collaboration platforms and intranet/extranet environments

o Firewalls, secure networks and managed WAN environments

Additional Information

This role includes the supervision of an IT Support resource and may require occasional out-of-hours work to support operational needs or planned changes. A current driver’s licence and access to a vehicle are required for travel between sites.
