IT Disaster Recovery Lead
- Lead the uplift of enterprise ICT Disaster Recovery and cyber resilience capability
- 18-month contract + 18-month extension
- Must be an Australian Citizen with Baseline clearance – NV1 desirable
Take on a senior role focused on strengthening how critical technology services recover, respond and remain resilient when disruption occurs.
You’ll work across ICT Disaster Recovery, cyber resilience, governance and assurance, partnering with technical owners, business stakeholders and senior leaders to uplift recovery capability across a large and complex technology environment.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and maintaining enterprise ICT Disaster Recovery capabilities, including recovery plans, technical runbooks and testing programs
- Developing and maintaining Disaster Recovery strategy, policy, standards and governance
- Leading DR testing, assurance, audit and remediation activities
- Integrating recovery requirements across architecture, cloud, project delivery, cyber security and operational processes
- Conducting Business Impact Analysis, criticality assessments and recovery prioritisation, including RTOs and RPOs
About You
We’re particularly interested in:
- Extensive experience across ICT Disaster Recovery, technology resilience, cyber security or related areas
- Experience developing DR strategies, policies, standards, operating models or governance frameworks
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, enterprise architecture, cloud environments, system dependencies and resilience
- Experience within Australian Government environments
- Knowledge of frameworks including NIST, ISO 22301, PSPF and ISM
- Experience with DR testing, BIA, recovery prioritisation, RTO/RPO and assurance activities will be highly regarded

The role offers hybrid working, with a minimum of three days per week in the office and flexibility for the remaining two days, subject to agreement.
