IP Solution Engineer – Major Telecommunications Company | Perth, WA
Permanent or Contract | Critical Infrastructure Projects
Our client, a major telecommunications provider, is seeking an experienced IP Solution Engineer to design, plan, and deliver high-performance IP network solutions for critical infrastructure sectors, including mining, rail, and power.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and optimise IP/MPLS networks, mobile backhaul, and data centre solutions.
- Conduct capacity planning, feasibility studies, and routing analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy end-to-end IP solutions.
- Support the build, deployment, and troubleshooting of complex network environments.
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent with 8-10 years’ experience in telecom IP networks.
- Strong understanding of IP technologies, Segment Routing, L2/L3 VPNs, and Telco Cloud fabrics.
- Experience designing solutions for mission-critical industries.
- Skilled in Network Management Systems, virtualisation, and E2E mobile and core network concepts.
- Hands-on experience with design, deployment, and fault finding in live environments.
Desirable:
- Industry certifications such as Cisco CCIE, Juniper JNCIE, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with leading IP router platforms and multi-vendor NMS solutions.
