Internal Audit Manager

• Permanent Position – Government Department
• CBD Location – Hybrid Working Arrangement
• $160,000 – $170,000 + Super – Establish Audit Framework

The internal Audit Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing audit activities regarding the implementation of security processes and controls provided and managing a team of five.

You will be responsible for

• Establishment of an audit and assurance program schedule with alignment to the Victorian Protective Data Security Framework and Standards (VPDSF/VPDSS)
• Direct management and oversight of the audit and assurance team.
• Conducting audits on a broad set of process and procedural controls involving ICT, Personnel, and Facilities
• Collaborating with 3rd line internal and external auditors to set scope, facilitate assessments, maintain and collect evidence

You will have

• Strong experience working as an Internal Audit Manager
• Strong experience leading and overseeing a team of analysts responsible for assurance and auditing
• Experience providing audit reports to stakeholders on findings and providing recommendations
• Consulting experience in this or similar roles that support continuous improvement advisory.
• Qualifications in Information Security, IT Audit, Risk Management, or a related field.
