Our client is looking for an experienced Integration Lead to join a large-scale finance modernisation program. This role will lead the design, development, and implementation of integration solutions, ensuring systems work seamlessly together to deliver operational efficiency and enhanced functionality.

Working closely with technical teams, stakeholders, and the system integrator, you’ll play a pivotal role in setting the integration strategy, managing delivery, and providing oversight for all integration-related activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and review integration designs and ensure alignment with program goals
  • Oversee the development and implementation of standardised, reusable APIs
  • Manage integration governance, lifecycle processes, and release schedules
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify requirements and resolve technical challenges
  • Ensure quality through system integration testing and adherence to best practices
  • Provide third-level support during the program’s hyper-care phase
  • Maintain documentation, status reporting, and contribute to knowledge management

Requirements

  • Relevant degree or qualification in IT, software development, or related field
  • Proven experience leading integration projects in complex enterprise environments
  • Strong technical skills in Java, Mule 4, ESB, XML, JSON, SQL, REST/SOAP APIs
  • Experience with SOA concepts and enterprise service bus design (preferably MuleSoft)
  • Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
  • Working with Children Check and ability to pass a police check
