Integration Architect - Utilities
Our client is seeking an experienced Integration Architect to design and deliver integration solutions across a major utilities transformation program. This is an initial 12-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension, supporting a long-term program of work expected to run for more than five years.
Working closely with solution architects, delivery teams, vendors, and business stakeholders, you will define integration architecture, ensure seamless connectivity between enterprise systems, and deliver secure, scalable integration solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end integration architectures across enterprise applications
- Define APIs, integration patterns, data flows, and interface specifications
- Collaborate with business, technical, and vendor teams to deliver integration solutions
- Support system integration, testing, deployment, and issue resolution
- Produce architecture documentation and technical design artefacts
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, and governance standards
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as an Integration Architect on large-scale technology transformation programs
- Strong experience designing APIs, middleware, and enterprise integration solutions
- Experience integrating enterprise platforms such as SAP, CRM, GIS, cloud, or asset management systems
- Strong understanding of application, data, and infrastructure integration
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working across complex enterprise environments
Highly Regarded
- Experience within utilities, infrastructure, or other asset-intensive industries
- Experience with Azure Integration Services, MuleSoft, Boomi, Kafka, or similar integration platforms
- Experience supporting cloud and hybrid integration architectures
