We’re seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to support a major workforce-planning system implementation. You’ll create clear, practical training materials that help staff confidently transition to a new enterprise system.

In this role, you will work within a project and change environment to design, develop and deliver a suite of learning materials for the new workforce-planning system. You’ll collaborate with SMEs, project leads and analysts to ensure training content is accurate, user-friendly, and aligned to business processes.

You will produce a range of resources including training manuals, online modules, quick-reference guides, and video how-tos.

What We’re Seeking

We are looking for an Instructional Designer who can bring structure, clarity and creativity to system training. You will ideally have:

  • Strong experience designing training materials for system or technical implementations
  • The ability to translate complex processes into simple, user-centred learning content
  • Deep understanding of instructional design and adult-learning principles
  • Excellent writing skills and attention to detail
  • Confidence working with SMEs, project stakeholders and change teams
  • Experience developing content across multiple formats (manuals, e-learning, guides, videos)
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deliverables
  • Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools and multimedia production

Desirable:

  • Experience delivering workshops or train-the-trainer sessions
  • Exposure to LMS platforms
  • Basic video editing or screen-capture skills
  • Experience in system implementations or transformation environments
