Talent International is searching for an experienced Infrastructure Project Coordinator to join a leading rail freight company based in Fortitude Valley on a initial 6-Month Contract, with strong extension potential.

The role:
You will work closely with the Program Manager and Project Managers, assisting in planning, coordinating, and executing critical IT infrastructure projects, including the Windows 10 End-of-Life (EOL) device replacement program. This includes ensuring smooth deployment of new devices, managing project documentation, monitoring risks and issues, supporting project financials and reporting, and running multiple smaller initiatives simultaneously. Strong communication, organisational, and administrative skills are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support project managers in planning and coordinating Windows 10 to Windows 11 laptop deployments across regional sites
  • Manage the return and redeployment of old laptops
  • Run multiple smaller projects and initiatives simultaneously
  • Produce status reports, maintain action logs, and support Steering Committee reporting
  • Administer Change Requests and monitor project risks and issues
  • Maintain project schedules and escalate issues to the Project Manager
  • Provide administrative support including booking travel, attending meetings, taking minutes, and maintaining project registers

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Project Administrator or Project Deployment Coordinator in IT
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project, Teams & Excel
  • Experience with Jira, SAP project and procurement modules, and Project Online is highly desirable
  • Experience managing project financials, including cost models in SAP
  • Demonstrated experience in laptop or infrastructure deployments across multiple sites
  • Strong organisational, multitasking, and attention-to-detail skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in parallel
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Project Managers and third-party vendors
