Infrastructure Architect - Nutanix and AWS (Mandatory)

My client is currently on the lookout for a experienced Infrastructure Architect to design, implement, and optimise compute platforms across Nutanix and AWS environments. You will lead the transition to a fully Nutanix environment and oversee the automation rollout within an AWS environment using DevOps, CI/CD, GitHub and terraform. The ideal candidate will have strong technical leadership across compute, storage, and virtualisation domains with the ability to work closely with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to deliver future-ready solutions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Infrastructure Architect working in complex environments
  • Strong expertise in Nutanix – Ideally a lead the migration from VMWare to Nutanix
  • Good understanding of AWS compute services (EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda).
  • Solid understanding of virtualisation (VMware, Hyper-V), containers, and hybrid cloud integration.
  • Experience with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
  • Knowledge of networking, storage, and security principles in hybrid environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Relevant certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Nutanix Certified Professional/Expert) highly regarded.
  • Tertiary qualifications in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering.
