Infrastructure Architect - EUC Engineer

As Infrastructure Architect, you will define and govern target-state EUC and Citrix architectures, ensuring secure, scalable, and user-centric solutions aligned to enterprise architecture and cyber security standards. You will provide technical leadership across EUC, Citrix, identity, networking, endpoint access, and AWS cloud infrastructure, working closely with internal teams and delivery partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead solution architecture and design assurance for EUC, Citrix, and cloud-hosted desktop initiatives

  • Define target-state EUC and Citrix architectures across AWS and hybrid deployment models

  • Architect and govern Citrix migrations (on-prem to AWS and hybrid)

  • Embed security-by-design principles including zero trust and secure remote access

  • Provide architectural oversight across identity, networking, endpoint, and AWS infrastructure

  • Address technical debt across legacy EUC and Citrix platforms

  • Act as design authority, guiding internal teams and vendors through implementation and migration

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Extensive experience in Infrastructure or EUC Architecture within enterprise environments

  • Strong expertise in Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops, including migration and modernisation

  • Experience designing or supporting Citrix workloads hosted on AWS

  • Solid understanding of EUC architectures, user access models, and performance optimisation

  • Strong technical capability across:

    • AWS cloud infrastructure

    • Identity & Access Management

    • Networking and secure remote access

    • Virtualisation and Microsoft enterprise technologies

  • Sound understanding of cyber security controls relevant to EUC and cloud-based access

  • Proven experience providing architectural governance and engaging with senior stakeholders
