A leading music organisation is seeking an eager and exceptional individual to join its Infrastructure Team as the primary Infrastructure Architect. This organisation is a global powerhouse in recorded music, publishing, merchandising, and audiovisual content, operating in more than 60 countries and dedicated to artistry, innovation, and creative excellence.

As the Infrastructure Architect, you will work closely with engineering, implementation, operations, and business stakeholders to drive strategy, architecture, standards, and designs for the organisation’s IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining foundational technology systems- including networks, servers, storage, and A/V environments-and ensuring they are secure, scalable, and aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure Design & Planning: Develop blueprints and long-term roadmaps for IT infrastructure, supporting both current and future business requirements.
  • System Integration: Ensure new and existing systems operate seamlessly and efficiently.
  • Technical Architecture: Define technical standards and specifications across hardware, software, and network components.
  • Standards & Governance: Document and maintain infrastructure standards and best practices.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement security measures and ensure adherence to policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Performance Monitoring: Identify performance issues, resolve bottlenecks, and optimise infrastructure efficiency.
  • Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity: Develop plans to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with IT teams, business units, and vendors to align technical solutions with organisational objectives.
  • Automation: Work with engineering, implementation, and operations teams to automate processes for accuracy and efficiency.

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong technical expertise across networking, servers, storage, and A/V technologies.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to design and deliver long-term infrastructure plans.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills with experience resolving complex technical challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for varied audiences.
  • Fluent English (written and verbal).

Experience

  • 10+ years in IT, including:
    • Minimum 3 years in network design
    • Minimum 2 years in compute and storage design
    • Minimum 1 year in A/V design
  • Experience delivering customer-facing presentations (4+ years).
  • Experience with architecture and strategic planning (2+ years).
  • Infrastructure automation experience (2+ years).
  • Proven experience running large-scale PoC/PoV evaluations and conducting cost/benefit analyses.
