About the Role
Join a dynamic team dedicated to acquiring and sustaining information warfare systems to support the Australian Force’s mission in cyberspace. As an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, availability, and maintainability of critical systems. This is an opportunity to contribute to national security while working on cutting-edge projects in a collaborative and innovative environment.

Your duties will include:

  • Managing, analysing, and developing integrated logistics support systems in compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
  • Conducting investigations and presenting comprehensive findings to stakeholders.
  • Preparing and maintaining project ILS plans, technical documentation, and maintenance support plans.
  • Collaborating with engineering teams to develop and improve ILS tools within a DevSecOps pipeline.
  • Developing policies, standards, and guidelines for ILS processes and scheduling audits.
  • Supporting Materiel System Reviews (MSRs) and ensuring consistent and efficient ILS systems.

Skills and Experience we are looking for:

  • Proven ability to build and sustain productive and collaborative working relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Advanced skills in provisioning and maintaining support systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing projects, risks, budgets, and schedules.
  • Stakeholder management expertise in complex, matrixed structures.
  • Ability to collaborate with Product Engineering Design teams to prioritise reliability, availability, and maintainability in design and support systems.
