The Role
A leading organisation supporting federal capability programs is seeking an experienced ILS Advisor to join a high-impact program team delivering critical air defence and joint battle management capabilities. This is a key role supporting complex, multi-stakeholder delivery environments where strong logistics governance, stakeholder engagement, and Defence procurement expertise are essential.
Your duties will include:
- Supporting the program ILS function across major projects and stakeholders
- Providing mentoring and guidance to the GFM Manager and wider GFM team
- Coordinating ILS support and ensuring timely delivery of GFM activities
- Maintaining and improving GFM registers, tools, and tracking systems
- Developing and modernising ILS and GFM documentation, plans, and procedures
- Identifying risks and resolving assurance issues related to GFM acquisition and delivery
Skills and Experience we are looking for:
- Demonstrated experience working within the ADF Capability Life Cycle / Defence Capability Model
- Strong background in Defence procurement and government acquisition processes
- Proven experience in an ILS and/or GFM management capacity
- High-level stakeholder engagement skills across internal and external groups
- Ability to work collaboratively across engineering and program delivery teams
- Strong understanding of compliance obligations (security, export controls, IP, commercial sensitivity)
