As a Senior IAM Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and advancing the organisation’s Identity and Access Management landscape for a Tier 1 Oil & Gas / Energy Operator. Acting as the Subject Matter Expert for the Identity and Access Management platform, you will bridge deep technical implementation with strategic security objectives. This role contributes directly to improving security posture, compliance and IAM maturity across a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design conceptual and logical IAM architectures aligned to global security policies
  • Conduct gap analysis between current and future state IAM capabilities and define uplift roadmaps
  • Configure and implement Saviynt solutions including RBAC models and provisioning workflows
  • Manage application onboarding, access control definitions and connector configurations
  • Troubleshoot complex integrations between Saviynt and systems such as AD, SAP, ServiceNow and cloud platforms
  • Implement Zero Trust and Least Privilege principles across IAM controls
  • Translate technical IAM risks into business impacts for senior stakeholders
  • Coordinate offshore MSP teams to ensure aligned and high quality IAM service delivery

Required Qualifications & Competencies

  • Strong experience on experience with Identity and Access Management (IGA)
  • Proven experience in large scale enterprise environments managing thousands of identities
  • Demonstrated ability to architect secure and scalable IAM solutions within IDAM
  • Strong scripting capability in Java, PowerShell or Python with SQL and REST APIs
  • Deep understanding of IAM principles including RBAC, ABAC, Least Privilege and Attestation
  • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory and SCIM provisioning
  • Ability to manage cross cultural and geographically dispersed MSP teams
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Negotiation, conflict resolution and stakeholder management capability
