Overview
We are seeking a specialised Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) expert to support a critical three-year program under a Major Defence Project. This role is essential for shaping governance frameworks, validating technical designs, and ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements to deliver a secure and sustainable identity solution. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining delivery schedules and aligning with strategic objectives.
Duties:
- Manage governance of Identity and Access Management controls and policies within a large-scale enterprise environment.
- Apply detailed understanding of MFA and Zero Trust Architecture Authentication methods to policy settings.
- Align internal policy and governance with external security frameworks such as ISM, DSPF, and NIST standards.
- Lead reviews of governance practices with independence from management activity.
- Act as the organisation’s contact for relevant regulatory authorities and maintain relationships with external stakeholders.
- Apply governance and auditability in a SIEM context, particularly managing security logging and audit data.
- Implement governance frameworks to enable governance activities.
- Determine governance requirements reflecting organisational values, ethics, risk appetite, and wider frameworks.
- Communicate delegated authority, benefits, opportunities, costs, and risks.
- Integrate intelligence with operational planning, aligning actions with organisational objectives.
- Develop policies and standards for offensive operations ensuring legal and ethical compliance.
- Provide expert guidance on offensive capabilities and operational tactics.
- Manage federated authentication projects with B2B and B2C clients in a cloud context.
- Manage MFA and Zero Trust Architecture Authentication methods; experience with OAuth and SAML is desirable.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven experience managing Identity and Access Management governance in large enterprises.
- Strong knowledge of MFA, Zero Trust Architecture, and authentication methods.
- Familiarity with security frameworks including ISM, DSPF, and NIST.
- Expertise in Privacy Impact and Data Management principles.
- Experience in governance reviews and regulatory liaison.
- Knowledge of SIEM governance and audit data management.
- Experience with federated authentication projects in cloud environments.
- Desirable experience with OAuth and SAML protocols.
