HR Advisor – Sole WA Regional Lead | Global Organisation
$100k + Super | 5 Days On-Site Near Perth Airport
Join a well-established global organisation as the go-to HR Advisor for Western Australia. This is a unique, standalone regional role where you’ll own all day-to-day HR operations while contributing to broader strategic initiatives. You’ll be the trusted partner for managers and employees alike, delivering practical HR solutions and driving positive change.
About the Role
As the sole HR Advisor for WA, you will be the first point of contact for all things HR – from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations, policy guidance, and strategic change initiatives. This is a hands-on position requiring a confident operator who thrives on variety and problem-solving. While you’ll collaborate with the national HR team, you’ll be independently responsible for the WA region.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checks, and offers.
- Oversee onboarding processes, contracts, inductions, and ensuring smooth transitions for new hires.
- Partner with external providers and immigration agents on overseas recruitment and VISA processing.
- Provide advice and support on Employee & Industrial Relations matters, including Award interpretation, EBAs, and union liaison.
- Lead initiatives to strengthen the organisation’s Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and boost engagement.
- Occasionally travel to other Australian sites as required.
About You
- Degree-qualified in Human Resources, Law, Business or similar.
- Proven HR generalist experience in fast-paced, complex environments.
- Strong ER/IR knowledge – mining or industrial experience highly regarded.
- Skilled communicator with the confidence to influence, challenge and support at all levels.
- Solutions-focused, proactive, and able to operate independently.
- Passionate about positive workplace culture and employee wellbeing.
