About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join a dynamic and fast-paced organisation. This role offers the opportunity to work within a large, complex business environment, providing high-quality HR advisory to managers and employees.

This position is ideal for a confident HR professional who is confident in case management and thrives in a busy operational setting.

  • Located South of the River, close to public transportation.
  • An ongoing position in the team, engaged as an initial 6 month contract with potential to permanent.
  • Contract agency rate of $70ph-$75ph+super.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide timely, accurate HR advice across the full employee life-cycle.
  • Coach and support managers in the interpretation and application of policies, procedures, and enterprise agreements.
  • Manage low-level casework such as grievances, performance, and fitness-for-duty matters.
  • Contribute to change management initiatives and HR project work.
  • Support HR reporting, compliance, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Build positive working relationships across teams to ensure consistent and effective HR service delivery.

About You

You are a proactive, detail-oriented HR professional who can balance multiple priorities and build credibility quickly with stakeholders. You enjoy partnering with leaders to deliver practical HR solutions and thrive in a collaborative team environment.

To be successful, you will have:

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Senior HR Advisor or HR Business Partner within a large, complex organisation.
  • Strong case management experience essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in coaching managers and providing HR policy interpretation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and maintain professionalism under pressure.
